We loved our food. The staff was very sweet and attentive. We loved that we were eating on a historic stern-wheeler boat, which used to operate on Lake Powel. What a delightful experience. I am sure we will go back again during our visit.

We stopped for lunch at the great place, and wow. It was fantastic! Our server Genisis had the greatest, warmest smile and was plain GREAT! MY WIFE HAD THE Teriyaki Chicken bowl with fried rice. I got the Chicken/Pork Teriyaki Bento. Both meals served as lunch and dinner. The atmosphere was fantastic and all the help was super present! I would go back in a heartbeat! 100 Stars

The food is good; I love their chicken katsu, ramen, and bento. The service is good, with nice staff and a fast response. As for the atmosphere, it feels like this building probably used to be a Chinese restaurant, and someone from Japan just bought it and kept it as it is. They probably should do some level of remodeling.

We had dinner here and it was great. I had the spicy hot pepper Korean chicken dish which was really nice and indeed spicy! My wife had the sushi and was also very happy with her choice of the California role. Really cool that you can sit in an actual boat. Recommend this place for sure to have a break from burgers and chicken nuggets.

Inside a now land bound boat called the Canyon king, you’ll find all your favorite Japanese dishes at New York Teriaki. We ate here the day after Christmas & it was so nice to have some vegetables & delicious food! The boba teas were consumed so quickly I didn’t get a good photo. We tried the honey dew & watermelon flavors, the latter of which was a little sweeter. Both delicious. I got the chicken stir fry bento box. My husband got the spicy pepper chicken bento box. Our kids split the chicken fried rice. The portions are very nice sized & everything is so tasty! Would come back here in a heartbeat. The service was friendly & attentive too.

Imagine savoring delectable dishes while surrounded by the enchanting ambiance of Lake Powell's rich history—it’s a feast for both the palate and the eyes.

As I stepped into New York Teriyaki, I was immediately struck by the warm and inviting atmosphere. The decor may hark back to its past as a Chinese restaurant, but the welcoming smiles from the staff, especially our server, brought a refreshing twist that is truly memorable. Customers rave about the attentive service and friendly vibes, with one reviewer declaring, "the greatest, warmest smile" from their server, Genisis. It's clear that hospitality is at the heart of New York Teriyaki.

The menu is a treasure trove of flavorful options that keep patrons coming back for more. I couldn't help but notice the acclaimed Teriyaki Chicken Bowl that my fellow diners have praised for its satisfying portions and sticky-sweet glaze. The Bento Boxes are equally tempting, offering a perfect combo of crispy chicken or pork and delightful side dishes. Many have complemented the succulent pot stickers and Gyoza, which make for an ideal start to any meal.

What truly captivates me is the hint of culinary artistry present in every dish. The Chicken Katsu boasts a crunch that pairs beautifully with its savory sauce, while the Ramen offers a comforting bowl filled with rich broth and tender noodles. And if you're in the mood for sushi, the California Roll and Tempura Vegetables promise a riot of flavors perfect for sharing, or perhaps even indulging solo.

Acknowledging the enthusiastic feedback from diners, it's apparent that New York Teriyaki is more than just a place to grab a bite; it's an experience that promises both flavor and fun. Customers often express their eagerness to return, highlighting not just the food but the vibrant energy that fills the space. As one diner put it, “I would go back in a heartbeat!”
